Government of Uttar Pradesh

The Department of Transport, Government of Uttar Pradesh is the regulatory department of all activities related to the road transport sector in the state. It does so through the enforcement of the MV Act and related rules by the Transport Commissioner's organisation, while the operation of public passenger transport services is done through the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation.
